Better learning. Fewer distractions. Real safeguards.

We are a coalition of parents and educators advocating for school policies grounded in independent research, public accountability and developmentally-appropriate practice.
Better learning. Fewer distractions. Real safeguards.
Research increasingly raises concerns about excessive or poorly designed technology use in educational settings, including effects on attention, learning, memory, social interaction, and student development.
At the same time, research supports the value of handwriting, print-based reading, discussion, direct human interaction, and other active, multisensory approaches to learning.
Our goal is not to eliminate technology from our schools. We aim to ensure that technology serves education, not the other way around. We would like to advocate for consistent technology policies, transparency in what applications and platforms our children are accessing during the school day, and research to support the efficacy of those applications on student learning.
